Things naturally quieten down in gardens over the winter, and sunlight hours reduce, so we have changed the regular working bees to the last Sunday of each month from 12pm to 1.30pm (same day as Herb Society meeting – which is at 2pm up at the Salvation Army Hall). Obviously they are weather permiting, so do get in touch at the Centre on 863 7555 or wcrcinc@xtra.co.nz if we are rained off and we will try to organise another date. In other garden news, the first of our greenhouse/cloche lids for the garden boxes has gone on. Hope to see you down there sometime! Cheers, Barry
